General Breed Information
Springerdoodles are a cross between the English Springer Spaniel and the Poodle.
Springerdoodles are mid sized dog averaging between 35 to 45 pounds when fully grown.
Coats vary in texture ranging from relaxed curl to wavy or sometimes straight. Typical colors include black, brown, black and white and black and brown. Shedding varies from dog to dog but they are typically very low or non-shedding dogs making them often suitable for some people who may be allergic to more high shedding dogs. Their coats require regular grooming.
Springerdoodles make excellent family pets combining the happy, biddable spaniel, with the intelligent and agile poodle and they are known for being gentle around children. Springerdoodles are fit and robust dogs and will benefit from plenty of outdoor exercise - they will take any opportunity to splash around in water.
