History The Boxer originates from Bavaria.
Appearance They have a slightly arched head with a short, broad, upward pointing muzzle.
Colours Brindle with or without white markings. Dark red to fawn. White boxers are not recognised by the Kennel Club because a large number are born deaf.
Temperament Lively, affectionate, energetic, strong minded, stubborn
Height and
Weight 53 - 63.5cm in height and 25-32 Kg in weight. Males are larger than females and at the top end of the size ranges.

Problems
Living Conditions Suited to life in the country or a town, Whichever it is will defiantly need access to a decent size garden, and one that is securely fenced. They are a companion dog and one of there priorities is to be with there owners or family.
Exercise
Requirements An active breed that needs alot of exercise. A walk of at least an hour a day, preferably more including some free running. Will also enjoy added playtimes. Be aware of not letting the dog get overheated on long walks on hot days.
Training Requirements Not an easy breed to train they are stubborn as well as sensitive so to get the best out of them a firm, patient approach is best.
Life Expectancy 9 - 12 years.
Grooming Short hard coat requires minimal grooming and a quick once over once a week is more than enough just to remove dead hairs and skin.
