Appearance Broad head with pendulous ears. Fairly short fine boned leg.

Colours White.

Temperament

Height and Weight Males and females are generally similar in size. Height 23-28 cm and 3 - 3.5Kg in weight.

Common Health Problems generally a healthy breed. May be prone to dislocating kneecaps, dysplasia (hip malformation) and sometimes heart defects.

Living Conditions Will be happy in house in the country or a town house and even apartment. Would much prefer access to a garden. If you do have in an apartment then longer walks and more visits to the park would be needed. the main priority of this breed is to be in company and receive attention from there owners.

Exercise Requirements Will get by on a standard daily work, but will enjoy more or longer walks. They are a lively playful breed who will burn energy during playtime, but walks are still needed. Coat may need cleaning after any wet and muddy walks.

Training Requirements A lively breed, which responds best to gentle but firm and persistent training.

Life Expectancy 14-15 years.

Grooming The soft curly coat needs brushing daily. Coat needs clipping every 4 - 6 weeks or so. If you like the clean face look then more attention will need to given around the hair on the face.
