Pastoral Dogs
Pastoral dogs are those bred to work with any kind of livestock animal. Generally a breed can be further split into 2 groups, breed bred for herding livestock and another group of breeds bred for guarding livestock.
The pastoral group of dogs used to be in the same large group as the Working dogs, but they were split up into there own group in 1999.
The dogs in this group are generally smaller in size than most Working dogs.
