The Grand Anglo-Francais Blanc et Noir is a breed that was created in France during the 1800s. Breeds used for the creation of this dog include the English Foxhound and other French hounds. The Grand Anglo-Francais Blanc et Noir is fairly numerous in France, but it is rare outside its homeland. This breed is recognized by the Fédération Cynologique Internationale and the United Kennel Club.

The Grand Anglo-Francais Blanc et Nois has moderately sprung ribs and a deep and broad chest. Dogs of this breed have a straight and firm back, and their loin is broad, rather short, and straight. These dogs have a rather short but strong head, and a fairly flat skull. Their muzzle is slightly longer than their skull. The lips of these dogs are square and they have a complete set of white teeth that meet in a scissors bite. The nose of these dogs is black, and they have brown, rather deep set eyes. Their feet are large, thick, and round, and they have a tail that is carried straight and is tapering to a slender point. The coat of these dogs is dense and short. These dogs are black and white, with broken black patches, or blue or black ticking or roaning. They may also have tan ticking on their legs, as well as some pale tan markings under their tail and on their head.
