General Breed Information

The Giant Maso Mastiff is not a hybrid dog but a developing breed. In fact, the breeding program for the Giant Maso Mastiff was started only in 2001 in an effort to produce mastiffs with greater longevity and fewer health problems. The breeds used for creating the Giant Maso Mastiff were the Cane Corso Italiano and the Old English Masti

Male Giant Maso Mastiffs have a height of at least 30 inches and a weight that ranges from 175 to 200 pounds. Females have a height of at least 27 inches, and their weight falls between 130 and 150 pounds. Giant Maso Mastiffs are large dogs that always look friendly and sweet. They have a large, square head and a rectangular muzzle. These dogs have small brown eyes that are set close together. Their neck is thick and covered with loose folds of skin. They have a muscular body and a deep chest. The legs of these dogs are long and powerful, while their feet are huge and round. These dogs have a short, sleek, and shiny coat. The acceptable coat colours for this breed include gray, black, apricot, fawn, and different variations of brindle.

Giant Maso Mastiffs are expected to live for around 10 to 12 years.
