General Breed Information
A cross between a Yorkshire terrier and a toy or miniature poodle the Yorkipoo is a hybrid dog and not a purebred.
Yorkipoos come in a variety of colours typically black, black and white, golden, golden red, golden blonde, chocolate and black and tan. Their coats are soft and they are low or no shedders making them suitable for some people who may suffer allergies to other dogs.
Yorkipoos make delightful family pets being fun, affectionate and happy dogs. They may not be ideal
with small children although this is not usually a big issue, just something that may need to be considered.
There are no known health problems associated with these dogs. Yorkipoos average between 4 and 14 pounds in weight and 7 to 15 inches in height when fully grown.
