General Breed Information

The Sheepadoodle is a cross between the Old English Sheepdog and the Poodle therefore it is a hybrid dog and not a purebred dog. Because the sheepdogs coat is non shedding, once mixed with the poodle the result is offspring that have extremely low or no shedding coats and are extremely hypoallergenic making them suitable pets for people who may be allergic to other dogs (it's worth noting that despite what you may have heard elsewhere there's no such thing as a dog that is 100% non allergenic.)

Loyal, obedient, friendly and intelligent Sheepadoodles make excellent family pets. They require plenty of exercise and being part Sheepdog, Sheepadoodles can enjoy being working dogs.

On average Sheepadoodles weigh between 50 to 85 pounds.
