General Breed Information
A cross between the Scottish Terrier and the Poodle, Scoodles - sometimes called Scottish Shoodle - are not purebred dogs. The Scoodle exhibits the square scottie stance but its legs are longer than their Scottish ancestors . They have a medium length, soft coat typically dark brown or black in color.
Scoodles are proven to be very good natured dogs; affectionate, attentive and loyal.
Scoodles are highly alert and protective little dogs and make excellent watchdogs, barking whenever someone approaches the family home. Scoodles are family orientated dogs and should not be left alone for long periods of time. They benefit from plenty of exercise and stimulation and while they are happy to play indoors with their owners, just like pretty much any dog there's nothing they love more than exploring the outdoor environment so, ideally, at least one daily walk or run is best to keep these dogs in optimum mental and physical health
On average Scoodles weigh between 17 to 20 pounds when fully grown and are around 8 to 10 inches tall.
