General Breed Information
The Pomapoo is a cross between the Pomeranian and the Poodle therefore it is a hybrid dog and not a purebred dog.
Typically these dogs will have upright, pointy ears and fox like facial features.The Pomapoos coat varies and can either be curly or wavy or straight usually in brown colors.
Pompapoos are lively, energetic dogs and require daily exercise - these dogs love to play indoors or outdoors. Friendly and intelligent animals and easy to train Pompapoos make great family pets and get on well with children. These dogs thrive on company and interaction and should not be left alone for long periods of time. Pompapoos are quite vocal dogs and will bark whenever someone approaches the house - they make good watchdogs. They can be trained to bark less frequently if the training is done at a young enough age.
Pompapoos are typically fit and healthy dogs although attention to be paid to their teeth in particular. Pompapoos usually live for between 12 and 16 years.
