General Breed Information
Petite Labradoodles are considered a hybrid dog meaning that it is not a purebred but its hybrid is known. They are not the same dogs as miniature Labradoodles as they are bred differently Petite Labradoodles Petite Labradoodles are almost the same blend as the Petite Goldendoodle and are a 3 way mix, half Poodle and ¼ Labrador Retriever and ¼ Cocker Spaniel. Crossing the Labrador Retriever with the Cocker Spaniel results in a Spanador which is then crossed with the Mini or Toy Poodle to make the Petite Labradoodle.
Petite Labradoodles typically average 12 to 30 pounds in weight while the exact height varies depending on the parents. Coats are soft, wavy to curly typically a golden color and they are low to no shedders making them suitable for some people who may be allergic to other dogs.
Petite Labradoodles are intelligent, affectionate and loyal dogs that make wonderful family pets. They get on well with children and are equally happy at home snuggled up on a sofa or exploring the outdoors - these dogs just love splashing around in water.
