General Breed Information
Pekepoos also known as a PekaPoo are not a purebred dog being a hybrid created by mixing the Pekingese with the Poodle.
Pekepoos are known to be intelligent dogs that can be easily trained. Affectionate, lively and loyal dogs they are good with children and make excellent family pets.
Pekepoos are usually white, black or tri-coloured with a coat that is not too thick or too curly - they are light shedders and may be suitable for some people who are allergic to other dogs.
Pekepoos live on average 12 to 15 years and are strong, active dogs that benefit from plenty of exercise. It is necessary to pay regular attention to the Pekapoos teeth and ears to check for problems - the ears will need plucking occasionally. Also worth noting is that some Peekapoos have allergies to grasses causing them to gnaw at their feet.When fully grown Pekepoos average between 9 to 20 pounds and between 9 and 11 inches in height.
