General Breed Information

The Foodle, which is considered a hybrid or designer dog, is a cross between the Poodle and the Fox Terrier. This dog is recognized by the Designer Dogs Kennel Club and the American Canine Hybrid Club. Dogs of this breed usually tend to be loyal to one person, although it can also be great as a family dog.

When fully grown, Foodles weigh approximately nine pounds. These dogs have a small body, with legs that are long and slender. Their ears are left natural and hang down the sides of their head. Their eyes and nose are dark in colour, and they have a strong bite. Their coat is short and their tail is heavily feathered. Owners of these dogs should brush their coat on a regular basis to help in the shedding process.
