Origin / History

 

Appearance

Colours Sable and white, various shades from gold to mahogany, tri colour black white and tan, and blue merle.

Temperament

Height and Weight 56- 61 cm in height and 23-34 Kg in weight. Males are generally bigger than the females.

Common Health Problems A healthy breed.

Living Conditions More suited to like in the country but does well in a town location and giving the right amount of time and attention.

Exercise Requirements A standard walk of an hour a day should be sufficient.

Training Requirements Considered easy to train and an intelligent breed

Life Expectancy 12 - 15 years.

Grooming The coat needs at least twice weekly brushing. It has a dense undercoat. The coat does moult to a moderate degree and sheds twice a year.
