History
Appearance Broad head and medium length muzzle and rather large flat hanging ears. Short, deep chested body with well sprung ribs. Legs are rather long and heavy boned. Has a long tail.
Colours Any shade of golden or cream.

Weight 51 - 61 cm in height and 27 - 36 Kg in weight. Males are larger than females and at the top end of the size ranges.
Common Health
Problems Hop Malformation and cataracts are common issues with this breed, so anyone looking to buy a puppy should make sure breeding stock have had hips and eyes screened.
Living Conditions An active breed ideally suited to country life. They do okay in towns so long as they get plenty of exercise including free running up the park and the property will need a garden, that should be well fenced and secure.
Exercise
Requirements An active breed which needs alot of exercise on a daily basis. Either one good long walk or a couple or more shorter outings. For this breed the more the better.
Training Requirements Ideal for training in obedience. They are an intelligent breed and eager to please. Do best with fun reward based training sessions.
Life Expectancy 12 - 13 years.
Grooming Coats are generally long, smooth and wavy and vary in length. All coat lengths will need a good brush once or more a week. This breed moult's quite alot of hair so more frequent combing may reduced the amount of hair shed around the home. Coat will need attention after wet and muddy walks.
