Origin / History

Appearance

Colours Red, Wheaten, tan and grizzle and also blue and tan.

Temperament

Height and Weight 25-28 cm in height and 7 - 7 Kg in weight.

Common Health Problems An alround healthy breed, but has been known to suffer from dislocated kneecaps, and also eye and skin problems.

Living Conditions Suited to both town and country life. If in a town would much prefer living in a house with a garden, which would need to be secure!

Exercise Requirements Needs above average exercise for a small breed. 1 long walk or a couple of shorter walks would be the minimum and will happily walk more if given the opportunity.

Training Requirements Not greatly suited to obedience training. Use short and reward based fun training sessions to get the best results.

Life Expectancy 13- 15 years.

Grooming Harsh dense coat which needs brushing at least twice a week. To keep the coat in good condition it needs hand stripped every 4 - 6 months.
